Product Specific Information
- Preparation: Obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified recombinant Mouse CD27 (Met1-Arg182) and conjugated with PerCP under optimal conditions. Unreacted PerCP was removed.
- Storage: Can be stored at 2–8°C for twelve months without detectable loss of activity. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Sodium azide is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly with large volumes of water.
Target Information
CD27 is a 50 kDa member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily, including CD40 and CD30. It regulates cell proliferation and death and is mainly expressed on lymphocytes. CD27 expression increases upon T cell activation and exists as a disulfide-linked homodimer on thymocytes, peripheral T cells, and a subset of B cells. The soluble form (sCD27) serves as a prognostic marker for B cell malignancies. CD27 dysfunction is associated with Lymphoproliferative Syndrome 2 and Autosomal Recessive Lymphoproliferative Syndrome.
