Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine JE/MCP-1 (CCL2). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:

• Recommended concentration: 0.25–1.0 µg/mL (100 µL/well).
• Used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine JE/MCP-1 (CCL2) (500-P113) as capture antibody.
• Detection limit: 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine JE/MCP-1 (CCL2).

Western Blot:

• Recommended concentration: 0.1–0.2 µg/mL.
• Detection limit: 1.5–3.0 ng/lane of Recombinant mJE(MCP-1), under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

This gene encodes a cytokine located on the q-arm of chromosome 17, part of the chemokine family involved in immune regulation and inflammation. The protein has chemotactic activity for monocytes and basophils but not for neutrophils or eosinophils. It is associated with diseases featuring monocytic infiltration, such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and atherosclerosis. It binds to chemokine receptors CCR2 and CCR4.
