Product Specific Information

The ISA-3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human ICOS (Inducible COStimulatory molecule), also known as H4, CRP-1, and AILIM.
ICOS is a T cell-specific activation molecule and a member of the CD28/CTLA-4 family. It plays a crucial role in T cell activation and humoral immune responses, particularly in memory B cell and plasma cell generation.

• ICOS binds to its ligand B7h/B7RP-1 on activated APCs and inflamed tissues.
• Plate-bound ISA-3 is costimulatory for T cells and induces cytokine production (IL-4, IL-5, IL-10), but not IL-2.
• Generated against human ICOS antigen.
• C398.4A (anti-mouse ICOS/H4) cross-reacts with human ICOS but binds a different epitope.
• For brightest staining of activated human T cells, use Product #13-9948-82 or #12-9948-42.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of stimulated human peripheral blood cells.
Use at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Fluorophore Information:
eFluor® 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue®, excited at 405 nm and emits at 445 nm (Violet laser). Ensure instrument compatibility.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
