Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and clones are screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information
ATF-2 (also known as CRE-BP1) is a transcription factor that binds both AP-1 and CRE DNA response elements and belongs to the ATF/CREB family of leucine zipper proteins.
It interacts with viral oncoproteins and cellular tumor suppressors and is a target of SAPK/JNK and p38 MAP kinase pathways.
Cellular stress such as genotoxic agents, inflammatory cytokines, and UV irradiation activate ATF-2 via phosphorylation at Thr69 and Thr71. Both SAPK and p38 MAPK phosphorylate ATF-2 at these sites.
