Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information

cAMP is a signaling molecule crucial for various cellular functions. It activates the cAMP-dependent protein kinase (AMPK), which transduces signals via phosphorylation of target proteins.
The inactive holoenzyme of AMPK consists of two regulatory and two catalytic subunits. Upon cAMP binding, it dissociates into a dimer of regulatory subunits (bound to four cAMP molecules) and two free catalytic subunits.
This gene encodes one of the regulatory subunits, which can be phosphorylated by the activated catalytic subunit. It may interact with A-kinase anchoring proteins, influencing the subcellular localization of AMPK.
