Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Estrogen Receptors (ER) are ligand-activated transcription factors belonging to the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily. Upon estrogen binding, ER undergoes conformational changes enabling dimerization and DNA binding to estrogen response elements (EREs), regulating gene transcription via coactivators or corepressors.
There are two forms:
- ERα (ESR1)
- ERβ (ESR2)
At least four ERα isoforms exist due to alternative splicing (66 kDa, 53 kDa, 47 kDa, 35 kDa).
ERs are expressed in various tissues, essential for sexual development and reproductive function, and are implicated in diseases such as breast cancer, endometrial cancer, and osteoporosis.
