Product Specific Information
- 0.5 µg/mL of MA5-45176 was sufficient for detection of HSP40 (HDJ1) in 15 µg of HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 40 kDa.
- Does not cross-react with HDJ2 or YDJ1.
Target Information
TCF-9 (Transcription Factor 9), also known as C2orf3, GCF, or DNABF, is a 781 amino acid nuclear protein belonging to the GCF family.
It binds GC-rich sequences of β-Actin, EGFR, and CANP promoters and is expressed widely across tissues.
Contains multiple phosphoserine and phosphothreonine residues, and two isoforms are produced via alternative splicing.
Located on human chromosome 2, which encodes over 1,400 genes and represents about 8% of the human genome.
TCF-9 is considered a candidate gene for dyslexia susceptibility (DYX3).
