Product Specific Information
0.5 µg/mL of MA5-45177 was sufficient for detection of HSP40 (HDJ1) in 15 µg of HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Detects approximately 40 kDa. Does not cross-react with HDJ2 or YDJ1.
Target Information
TCF-9 (transcription factor 9), also known as C2orf3, GCF, or DNABF, is a 781 amino acid nuclear protein in the GCF family. It binds GC-rich sequences of beta-Actin, EGFR, and calcium-dependent protease (CANP) promoters. Two isoforms are produced by alternative splicing. GCF may be linked to dyslexia susceptibility (DYX3) due to genomic proximity on chromosome 2, which encodes over 1,400 genes and represents about 8% of the human genome.
