1 µg/mL of MA5-45171 was sufficient for detection of LAMP2 in 20 µg of rat liver microsomes by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 100–110 kDa.

LAMP2 (Lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 2, CD107b)는 리소좀 막 당단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 선택틴(selectin)의 탄수화물 리간드를 제공하고, 종양 세포 전이 및 리소좀의 보호·유지·부착에 관여합니다.
비번역(posttranslational modification) 전 LAMP2는 약 46 kDa의 폴리펩타이드이며, 다양한 N-linked 및 O-linked 당쇄로 광범위하게 당화되어 총 분자량은 약 100–130 kDa입니다.
LAMP2는 큰 아미노말단 리소좀 내 도메인, 소수성 막관통 도메인, 짧은 카르복실말단 세포질 꼬리로 구성됩니다.
이 단백질은 chaperone-mediated autophagy를 모니터링하는 데 사용되며, LAMP-2A, -2B, -2C의 세 가지 변이형이 존재합니다.
LAMP2는 CD107a/LAMP-1과 함께 리소좀 막의 주요 구성 요소로, 리소좀 생합성 및 파고좀과의 융합에 필수적입니다.
LAMP2 결핍은 여러 조직에서 자가포식소체 축적을 유발하여 심근병증 및 근병증(Danon’s disease)을 일으킵니다.
