Binds to promoter/enhancer response elements containing imperfect 5'-AGGTCA-3' repeats, recognized by other nuclear hormone receptors.
Modulates hormonal responses and represses transcriptional activity of several genes including LHCGR, REN, and OXT.
Represses thyroid hormone receptor (THRB) activity and inhibits NFATC transcription factor DNA binding.
Acts as a transcriptional repressor of IL-17 in Th-17 CD4(+) T cells, potentially involved in immune tolerance and autoimmunity.
Plays a role in forebrain circadian clock development and is required early in the development of the locus coeruleus (LC).
