Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Cyclins bind to and regulate the activity of Cyclin-dependent protein kinases (CDKs). Cyclin B1 (CCNB1) is a regulatory protein involved in mitosis and is essential for the control of the cell cycle at the G2/M transition. It complexes with p34 (cdc2) to form the maturation-promoting factor (MPF).
Two alternative transcripts exist: one constitutively expressed and one cell cycle-regulated, expressed mainly during G2/M phase. Cyclin B1 accumulates during G2 phase and is destroyed at the end of mitosis via APC-dependent degradation, which is necessary for cell cycle progression. Overexpression of Cyclin B1 has been observed in various cancers, including breast, prostate, and non-small cell lung cancer.
