Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of PAK2 only when phosphorylated at Ser20.
Target Information
PAK2 (serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK2) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in various signaling pathways including cytoskeleton regulation, cell motility, cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and proliferation. It acts as a downstream effector of the small GTPases CDC42 and RAC1. Activation by binding of active CDC42 and RAC1 induces conformational change and autophosphorylation on serine/threonine residues. Full-length PAK2 promotes cell survival and growth. PAK proteins link Rho GTPases to cytoskeletal reorganization and nuclear signaling.
