Antibody detects endogenous levels of NuMA only when phosphorylated at Ser395.

NuMA (nuclear mitotic apparatus) is a long coiled-coil protein that plays a role in the interphase and mitosis phases of the cell cycle.

In interphase, it is hypothesized to contribute to nucleoskeletal structure and nuclear organization.
During mitosis, NuMA associates with spindle microtubule organization and chromosome positioning.
