Target Information

NuMA (nuclear mitotic apparatus) is a long coiled-coil protein that plays a role in the interphase and mitosis phases of the cell cycle.

  • In interphase, it is hypothesized to contribute to nucleoskeletal structure and nuclear organization.
  • During mitosis, NuMA associates with spindle microtubule organization and chromosome positioning.
