For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3) is a 281 amino acid, Type-1 Th1-specific cell surface glycoprotein expressed on terminally differentiated CD4+ Th1 and CD8+ Tc1 cells.
It contains an IgV-like domain, a mucin-like domain in the extracellular region, and a conserved tyrosine phosphorylation motif in the cytoplasmic region.
TIM3 is involved in macrophage activation, autoimmune disease induction, and immune tolerance regulation. It plays a pathological role in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis (EAE), a Th1-dependent autoimmune disease.
