Target Information
TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3)는 281개의 아미노산으로 구성된 Type-1 Th1 특이적 세포 표면 당단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 terminally differentiated CD4⁺ Th1 및 CD8⁺ Tc1 세포에서 발현되며, IgV-like domain, mucin-like domain, cytoplasmic tyrosine phosphorylation motif로 구성되어 있습니다.
TIM3는 대식세포 활성화 및 자가면역 질환 유도에 관여하며, Th1 매개 면역반응을 하향 조절하고 면역 관용 형성에 기여합니다.
병리학적으로는 실험적 자가면역뇌척수염(EAE)과 같은 Th1 의존성 자가면역질환의 중증도 증가와 관련이 있습니다.
