- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45333 was sufficient for detection of Drosophila HSP70 using an indirect assay with rabbit anti-rat IgG and goat anti-rabbit IgG:HRP.
- Detects approximately 70 kDa (heat-inducible form).

HSP70는 다양한 생물학적 스트레스(특히 고온)에 반응하여 발현되는 Heat shock protein 계열에 속합니다. HSP70, HSP90, HSP100 등의 주요 HSP 계열이 있으며, HSP70은 모든 생물에서 보존된 단백질군으로 열 스트레스 등 다양한 자극에 의해 유도됩니다.
인간 HSP70 계열에는 HSP70, HSP72, HSC70, GRP78(BiP), HSP75(p75) 등이 포함됩니다.
이 단백질들은 세포 내 단백질 안정화, 신생 단백질의 접힘(folding) 조절, 그리고 ubiquitin-proteasome 경로에 관여합니다.
HSP70 유전자는 MHC class III 영역에 위치하며, 유사 단백질을 암호화하는 두 개의 근접 유전자와 함께 클러스터를 형성합니다.
