Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is a key cellular mechanism for degrading abnormal or short-lived proteins.
Ubiquitination involves three enzyme classes: E1 (ubiquitin-activating), E2 (ubiquitin-conjugating), and E3 (ubiquitin-protein ligases).
UBE2G2 encodes an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that shares 100% sequence identity with the mouse homolog.
It is ubiquitously expressed, with high expression in adult muscle.
Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
