For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells respond to thermal and chemical stress by inducing heat shock genes. In eukaryotes, gene expression is primarily regulated at the transcriptional level by heat shock transcription factors (HSF1 and HSF2).
HSF1 and HSF2 are upregulated by estrogen at both mRNA and protein levels. HSF1 typically exists as a monomer with repressed transcriptional activity due to phosphorylation. Upon activation, HSF1 forms trimers, gains DNA-binding activity, and translocates to the nucleus.
HSF2 activity is linked to differentiation and development and also binds DNA as a trimer. Both HSF1 and HSF2 can be induced by proteasome inhibitors of the ubiquitin pathway.
