For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells respond to thermal and chemical stress by inducing heat shock genes. In eukaryotes, transcriptional regulation is mediated by heat shock transcription factors (HSF1 and HSF2).
HSF1 and HSF2 are upregulated by estrogen at both mRNA and protein levels. HSF1 exists as a monomer under normal conditions and forms active trimers upon activation. HSF2 activity is associated with differentiation and development, binding DNA as a trimer similar to HSF1. Both are induced by proteasome inhibitors of the ubiquitin pathway.
