Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature and should be stored at -20°C upon arrival.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Histamine is a ubiquitous messenger molecule released from mast cells, enterochromaffin-like cells, and neurons.
Its actions are mediated by histamine receptors H1, H2, H3, and H4.
The HRH1 gene encodes an integral membrane protein belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily.
It mediates smooth muscle contraction, increases capillary permeability, promotes catecholamine release from the adrenal medulla, and plays a role in neurotransmission in the CNS.
Multiple alternatively spliced variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
