Product Specific Information

  • Reconstitution: Add 50 µL or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.

Target Information

Histamine H3 receptor regulates the release of neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine and somatostatin.
In histamine-containing neurons of the brain, it acts as a presynaptic autoreceptor, while in non-histamine neurons of both the central and peripheral nervous systems, it functions as a presynaptic heteroreceptor.
Multiple isoforms are generated by alternative splicing.
Histamine H3 receptor is primarily expressed in the brain, with ESTs isolated from brain (normal and cancer), breast cancer, colon cancer, and retinoblastoma libraries.
