Target Information
Vinculin (VCL)은 세포-세포 및 세포-세포외기질 부착 접합(adherens junction)에 관련된 세포골격 단백질입니다. F-actin을 세포막에 고정하는 여러 단백질 상호작용에 관여하며, adhesion plaque 형성에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다. Integrin의 β 서브유닛이 talin에 결합하고, talin은 vinculin과 상호작용하여 α-actinin과 연결됩니다. α-actinin은 actin 필라멘트를 교차 결합하므로, vinculin은 세포외기질과 세포 내 미세섬유 시스템을 연결하는 주요 요소로 작용합니다. VCL 유전자 변이는 확장성 심근병증 1W 또는 가족성 비대성 심근병증 15를 유발할 수 있습니다.
