For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The DCC gene encodes a netrin 1 receptor, a transmembrane protein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily of cell adhesion molecules.
It mediates axon guidance of neuronal growth cones toward netrin 1 sources.
The cytoplasmic tail interacts with tyrosine kinases Src and focal adhesion kinase (FAK/PTK2) to mediate axon attraction.
DCC localizes partially to lipid rafts and induces apoptosis in the absence of ligand.
It functions as a tumor suppressor and is frequently mutated or downregulated in colorectal and esophageal carcinoma.
