Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits and screen individual clones to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information

NRF1 encodes a transcription factor that homodimerizes and activates key metabolic genes involved in cellular growth, respiration, heme biosynthesis, and mitochondrial DNA transcription and replication. It is also associated with neurite outgrowth regulation.
Alternate splice variants encoding the same or different isoforms have been described, though not fully characterized. Note that confusion may occur in literature due to the shared symbol “NRF1” with nuclear factor (erythroid-derived 2)-like 1 (NFE2L1).
