Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed, followed by screening to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information
Trefoil family members possess one or more trefoil motifs—40 amino acid domains containing three conserved disulfide bonds. These are stable secretory proteins expressed in gastrointestinal mucosa and may protect the mucosa, stabilize mucus layers, and promote epithelial healing.
TFF1 is expressed in gastric mucosa and has been studied for its expression in human tumors. TFF1 and related genes are located in a cluster on chromosome 21.
