Target Information
CD138 (Syndecan-1)은 다양한 사이토카인 및 세포외기질 성분과 결합하여 그들의 활성에 영향을 미치는 막관통 프로테오글리칸입니다. 주로 분화 중인 케라티노사이트에서 발현되며, 조직 손상 시 일시적으로 표피 전층에서 발현이 증가합니다. 또한 형질세포에서 높게 발현되며, 섬유아세포, 혈관 평활근세포, 내피세포에서도 검출됩니다. CD138의 발현 증감은 종종 암성 특성과 연관되며, 혈청 내 용해형 sCD138 수준은 암 발생의 예후 인자로 활용됩니다.
