Reactivity with other Integrin alpha 7 isoforms was not tested.
In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Integrin alpha 2, alpha 3, alpha 4, alpha 5, alpha 9, alpha E, alpha X, recombinant human Integrin alpha L, or alpha 11 was observed.

Integrin alpha-7은 인간의 ITGA7 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질로, 염색체 12q13.2에 위치합니다.
이 단백질은 integrin alpha chain family에 속하며, integrins는 α 및 β 사슬로 구성된 이합체 막단백질입니다.
세포 간 및 세포-기질 간 상호작용을 매개하여 세포 이동, 형태 발달, 분화, 전이 등에 관여합니다.
Integrin alpha-7은 laminin-1의 수용체로 작용하며, 주로 골격근과 심근에서 발현되어 근형성 과정 중 분화 및 이동에 관여합니다.
이 유전자의 결함은 선천성 근병증(congenital myopathy)과 관련이 있습니다.
