Goat anti-Rat Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide (CGRP) antibody recognizes CGRP, a neuropeptide that acts as a vasodilator and plays a role in the pathophysiology of migraine (Recober & Russo 2009).
Target Information
This gene encodes the peptide hormones calcitonin, calcitonin gene-related peptide, and katacalcin through tissue-specific alternative RNA splicing and cleavage of inactive precursor proteins.
