Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
PAX5 is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors, which are critical regulators of early development. PAX5, also known as B-cell lineage specific activator protein (BSAP), is expressed at early but not late stages of B-cell differentiation. It is also found in developing CNS and testis, suggesting roles in neural development and spermatogenesis. Mutations in the PAX5 gene have been associated with leukemia and acute lymphoblastic conditions.
