Target Information
PAX5는 paired box (PAX) 전사인자 패밀리의 구성원으로, 초기 발달 과정에서 중요한 조절 역할을 하는 단백질입니다. PAX5는 B세포 계열 특이적 활성화 단백질(BSAP)로서 초기 B세포 분화 단계에서 발현되며, 후기 단계에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 또한 중추신경계(CNS) 및 고환에서도 발현되어 신경 발달과 정자형성에도 관여할 수 있습니다. PAX5 유전자 변이는 백혈병 및 급성 림프모구성 백혈병과 관련이 있습니다.
