Target Information
PDP1 (Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Phosphatase 1) is involved in the regulation of pyruvate dehydrogenase activity. It catalyzes dephosphorylation and activation of the E1 component, reversing the effects of pyruvate dehydrogenase kinases. The enzyme is a heterodimer consisting of catalytic and regulatory subunits.
