This antibody detects endogenous levels of GATA2 only when phosphorylated at Ser401.
Target Information
GATA2 (GATA binding protein 2) is part of the GATA family of transcription factors, which play key roles in signaling pathways controlling proliferation and differentiation of erythroid progenitor cells. The family includes six transcription factors: GATA1 to GATA6.
GATA2 acts as a transcriptional activator regulating endothelin-1 gene expression in endothelial cells and is involved in differentiation of other tissue types (uro-genital and nervous) during embryogenesis.
