LSP1 유전자는 세포 내 F-actin 결합 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 림프구, 호중구, 대식세포, 내피세포에서 발현되며, 호중구 이동성, 피브리노겐 매트릭스 단백질에 대한 부착, 그리고 내피세포 간 이동을 조절할 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 인해 여러 isoform을 암호화하는 다양한 전사체 변이가 생성됩니다.
