• AA Sequence of recombinant protein:

• Preparation:
  Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIA-2. Anti-Human MIA-2-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

• Sandwich ELISA:
  To detect Human MIA-2 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MIA-2 (500-P255) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIA-2.

• Western Blot:
  To detect Human MIA-2 by Western Blot, use at 0.1–0.2 mg/mL. When used with compatible development reagents, detection limit for Recombinant Human MIA-2 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

• Packaging:
  500-P255BT-1MG will be provided as 2 × 500 µg.

Target Information

CTAGE5/MIA-2 is a secreted cytokine and a member of the MIA/OTOR family, which includes MIA, OTOR, and TANGO. These proteins share a Src homology-3 (SH3)-like domain. MIA-2 is predominantly expressed in hepatocytes, and elevated levels may serve as a marker for hepatic disease activity and severity.
