Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PRKY (protein kinase, Y-linked) is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family, specifically the cAMP-dependent kinase subfamily.
It is encoded by a gene located near the pseudoautosomal region on chromosome Y and contains one protein kinase domain responsible for ATP-dependent phosphorylation of target proteins.
PRKY and its X-linked counterpart PRKX are involved in processes such as macrophage differentiation and renal epithelial cell migration.
Mutations in PRKY or PRKX may be associated with sex reversal disorders (XX males and XY females).
