Target Information

LDOC1 contains a leucine zipper-like motif and a proline-rich region similar to an SH3-binding domain.
The protein localizes to the nucleus and is down-regulated in certain cancer cell lines.
It is believed to regulate transcriptional responses mediated by nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB).
LDOC1 has been proposed as a tumor suppressor gene, potentially playing a role in cancer development and progression.
