Target Information
ErbB3 (c-erbB-3/HER-3)는 type I 성장 인자 수용체 패밀리에 속하며, heregulin 패밀리 리간드와 결합합니다.
이 단백질은 전립선, 방광, 유방, 위, 췌장, 대장 등 다양한 종양에서 과발현됩니다.
Heregulin과 EGF는 c-erbB-3의 티로신 인산화를 서로 다른 정도로 자극합니다.
ErbB3 유전자는 인간 염색체 12q13에 위치하며, 약 6.2 kb mRNA로 전사되어 160/180 kDa 당단백질로 번역됩니다.
이 유전자는 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 막관통성 수용체 티로신 키나아제를 암호화하며, 다른 EGF 수용체 패밀리 단백질과 이합체를 형성하여 세포 증식 및 분화 경로를 활성화합니다.
또한, 막관통 영역이 결여된 분비형 isoform과 기타 스플라이스 변형체가 보고되어 있습니다.
