Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9). Anti-Human MIG (CXCL9)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MIG by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MIG (500-P50) as a capture antibody, it allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIG.

Western Blot:
To detect Human MIG by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. With compatible development reagents, detection limit for Recombinant Human MIG is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

MIG (CXCL9) is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon and a member of the CXC chemokine family. This gene is mapped to chromosome 4q21. While most CXC chemokines are chemotactic for neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are unique in being chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive for neutrophils. Chemokines also influence T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection.
