Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9). Anti-Human MIG (CXCL9)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human MIG (CXCL9) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MIG (CXCL9) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human MIG (CXCL9) (500-P50Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9).

Western Blot:
To detect Human MIG (CXCL9) by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9) is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

MIG, also known as CXCL9, is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon and a member of the CXC chemokine family of cytokines. This gene is mapped to 4q21. Chemokines act as chemotactic factors and also influence T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection. While most CXC chemokines are chemotactic for neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are unusual in being chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive in neutrophils.
