Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIG (CXCL9). The anti-Human MIG (CXCL9)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MIG by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MIG (500-P50) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIG.

Western Blot:
To detect Human MIG by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible development reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIG is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

MIG, also known as CXCL9, is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon and a member of the CXC chemokine family. This gene is mapped to 4q21. Chemokines primarily act as chemotactic factors, but they also influence T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection. Unlike most CXC chemokines that attract neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive for neutrophils.
