Product Specific Information
The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD185 (CXCR5), also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1). CXCR5 is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor expressed in Burkitt’s lymphoma, B cells, and CD4+ T cells (excluding Th1/Th2). It is involved in lymphocyte trafficking and T cell migration into B cell follicles in response to CXCL13, serving as a marker of follicular helper T cells.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Flow cytometry on human peripheral blood cells (≤0.25 µg/test, 100 µL volume). Optimal titration recommended.
Purity: >90% (SDS-PAGE).
Aggregation: <10% (HPLC).

Target Information
CXCR5 (C-X-C Chemokine Receptor Type 5, CD185) is a G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine BLC, expressed in Burkitt’s lymphoma and lymphoid tissues. It plays a key role in B cell migration and is found in human blood, lymph nodes, spleen, and other organs. GPCR family members share seven transmembrane helices and are central to signal transduction. CXCR5-related research contributes to understanding immune cell migration and pharmacological targeting of GPCRs.
