Target Information

Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein found in the chromatin of all eukaryotic cells.
Together with other core histone proteins, it forms the nucleosome structure.
Histones are central to transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability.
The N-terminal tail of histone H3 undergoes post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influencing chromatin structure and gene expression.
