Target Information

Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein forming part of the nucleosome structure in eukaryotic chromatin.
It plays a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability.
The N-terminal tail of histone H3 undergoes various post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influencing chromatin structure and gene expression.
