Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Key advantages include:

  • High specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broad immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

Gene: ACTC1
Actins are highly conserved proteins involved in various types of cell motility. Polymerization of globular actin (G-actin) forms filamentous actin (F-actin) as a two-stranded helix. The alpha actins are found in muscle tissues and are major components of the contractile apparatus.
Defects in ACTC1 are associated with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy (IDC) and familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (FHC).
