Target Information
AHR (Ah Receptor)는 ARNT (HIF-1 Beta) 및 Drosophila 단백질 PER, SIM과 관련된 단백질군에 속합니다. AHR은 약 200개의 아미노산으로 구성된 PAS 도메인을 가지며, 다양한 조직에서 발현되어 특정 DNA enhancer 서열에 결합하여 cytochrome P-450 (CYPIA1) 유전자의 전사를 유도합니다.
AHR은 planar aromatic hydrocarbons에 대한 생물학적 반응 조절에 관여하는 리간드 활성화 전사 인자입니다. cytochrome P450 등의 xenobiotic 대사 효소를 조절하며, TCDD와 같은 방향족 화합물을 리간드로 인식합니다.
비활성 상태에서는 HSP90과 복합체를 이루어 세포질에 존재하며, 리간드 결합 후 핵 내로 이동하여 AhR nuclear translocator protein (Arnt)과 이합체를 형성합니다.
AHR 관련 질환으로는 Eosinophilic fasciitis와 Seborrheic dermatitis가 보고되어 있습니다.
