Target Information
Human IgG4 (human immunoglobulin G4) is a subclass of human IgG antibodies produced in response to antigens. It is the least abundant IgG subclass in blood and plays a minor role in pathogen defense. IgG4 binds specific antigens and promotes clearance through mechanisms such as phagocytosis and complement activation. It is also involved in immune tolerance and inflammation suppression.
Human IgG4 is used in research to study immune responses and develop diagnostic or therapeutic tools for infectious and autoimmune diseases.
