IL18R1은 인터루킨 1 수용체 패밀리에 속하는 사이토카인 수용체로, 인터루킨-18(IL18)과 특이적으로 결합하여 IL18 매개 신호전달에 필수적인 역할을 합니다. IFN-α와 IL12는 NK 세포 및 T 세포에서 이 수용체의 발현을 유도하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. IL18R1 유전자는 IL1R2, IL1R1, ILRL2(IL-1Rrp2), IL1RL1(T1/ST2) 등과 함께 염색체 2q에 위치한 유전자 클러스터를 형성합니다.
