Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Lysyl oxidase (LOX) is a copper-containing amine oxidase that oxidizes primary amine substrates to reactive aldehydes. It plays a key role in the formation and repair of the extracellular matrix. LOX also functions in developmental regulation, tumor suppression, cell motility, and cellular senescence.
The secreted form of LOX contributes to the invasive properties of hypoxic human cancer cells, making it a critical factor in hypoxia-induced metastasis and a potential therapeutic target for metastasis prevention and treatment.
