Product Specific Information
MA1-827 detects C/EBP beta protein in mouse and rat samples. It recognizes the LAP*, LAP, and LIP isoforms of C/EBP beta.
This antibody has been validated for use in Western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation assays.
In Western blot analysis, MA1-827 detects 38, 35, and 20 kDa proteins corresponding to C/EBP beta LAP*, LAP, and LIP isoforms in 3T3-L1 cells. The LIP isoform represents the C-terminal fragment.
Immunofluorescent staining of C/EBP beta in P388D1 cells can be performed using MA1-827.
The immunogen used is recombinant mouse LIP.
Target Information
This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors, characterized by a distinct DNA-binding forkhead domain. Its specific biological function remains unclear, but it may play a role in mesenchymal tissue development.
