Target Information
CNTNAP1 (Contactin-associated protein 1)은 contactin-PTPRZ1 복합체와 연관된 190-kDa 단백질로 처음 확인되었습니다. 1,384 아미노산으로 구성된 이 단백질은 p190 또는 CASPR로도 알려져 있으며, 여러 단백질-단백질 상호작용 도메인을 포함하는 세포외 도메인, 막관통 도메인, 74 아미노산의 세포질 도메인을 가지고 있습니다.
이 단백질의 세포외 도메인 구조는 neurexin과 유사하며, contactin의 신호 하위 단위로 작용하여 뉴런 내 신호 전달 경로의 활성화를 유도할 수 있습니다.
Northern blot 분석 결과, CNTNAP1 유전자는 주로 뇌에서 6.2 kb 전사체 형태로 발현되며, 기타 조직에서는 약한 발현이 관찰되었습니다.
